“Socialist Sneaker Heads” is a series of promotional posters for my documentary. The posters consist of Democratic Socialists (more appropriately known as Social Democrats), Libertarian Socialists, and Socialist revolutionaries wearing sneakers. The point of these posters is to engage the viewer with the contradiction head on. Each individual is wearing a sneaker that is very expensive after the resell price. Most of these individuals most likely wouldn’t wear these sneakers, and like Bernie Sanders, they would condemn this culture for being exploitive. The purpose of this series was to allow the viewer to question the overall message behind my documentary, while also viewing the contradictory lifestyle I embody.  “Commie Bear” is the second series of promotional posters. The style of these posters are in mural format, and they mix my favorite Ralph Lauren Design with the Socialist, and Communist, symbol. This Polo Bear is supposed to represent myself on my journey throughout my documentary.
